About the Owners of Early American Candle Supplies

Early American Candle was established in 1962 by owners Elmer and Dorothy Byrnes in Wescosville, PA. Elmer's son, John and his wife, Susan are the current owners and relocated the business to Pittsburgh, PA in 1992.

We carry a complete line of candle making supplies. This includes waxes, wicks, glass containers, candle molds, fragrances, dyes, packaging supplies, and many more items for all of your candle making needs. Orders are shipped the same day if received by 2 PM or the next business day as long as stock is on hand. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30 PM (EST). Our store hours are Monday-Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST) for order pickup. We do ask that you pre-order your candle supply items if you will be coming in to pick up your order after 1:30 on weekdays or on Saturday.

In 2008 we added Glass Supply Depot to our line to meet the needs of a wider range of glass customers.

In 2010 we added Soy Organic Candle as a new website for selling our candles. We have all the best soy candles with the best candle fragrances
